Motor boat and motor vehicle registration and licence records are kept on separate databases and currently are not linked. This means that if you have changed address or other personal details for your vehicle, boat trailer and driver’s licence but have not notified us that you also have a boat registered in your name, your details may remain unchanged on the Recreational Boating System (RBS) database.
